Kyle Sandilands, the radio star, has recently purchased a “fixer-upper” holiday home in Copacabana on the Central Coast. While it may not be as grand as the Prime Minister’s mansion, the property offers stunning beach views and comes with a lower price tag of $1.8 million, down from the original asking price of $1,995,000. Sandilands revealed the purchase during an interview with Triple M Central Coast presenters Paddy Gerard and Maz Compton.
Although Sandilands didn’t disclose the exact location of the property, he mentioned that they considered the house bought by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese but decided against it due to safety concerns for their young son, Otto.
The property, described as a “beachside entertainer with picturesque views,” is yet to settle, but sources have confirmed that Sandilands bought it for $1.8 million on November 20 last year. The home features a family-focused layout and an ideal construction for future development. The large open-plan living areas open up to wraparound balconies, offering amazing views of Copacabana Beach and Macmasters headland.
The property boasts three generous bedrooms with built-ins and security shades, as well as three bathrooms, including a master ensuite. Additional features include a rumpus room by the garage, ducted air conditioning, waterproof security shutters, secure gated entry, a lock-up garage, private rear yard, and landscaped gardens.
The location of the property is also a major advantage, as it is just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by trendy cafes, restaurants, and bars. Overall, Sandilands’ new holiday home is a savvy purchase and the perfect retreat for his young family.
