Walker & Dunlop, a leading financial services company, has successfully secured a $34.8-million construction loan for the development of 4301 Vermont, an upcoming affordable housing multifamily apartment project located in the Vermont-Slauson neighborhood of Los Angeles. The loan was arranged by the W&D Multifamily Finance team, led by Chris Montes, on behalf of their client, SoLa. ACORE Capital has been identified as the lender for this project.

The 4301 Vermont project will consist of a five-story, 188-unit affordable housing apartment complex. To ensure efficiency and quality, the project will utilize prefabricated modular units supplied by Model Z, a subsidiary of SoLa Impact. The development aims to address the housing needs of the community by designating approximately 80% of the units for low-income residents, with the remaining 20% reserved for moderate-income residents.

Chris Montes expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration, stating, “SoLa continues to excel in providing affordable housing solutions to communities. We are pleased to have contributed to another remarkable development for our valued partners at SoLa through this financing. This project will bring much-needed housing to the urban landscape of Los Angeles, specifically catering to low-income and moderate-income tenants.”
