A partnership between the Massachusetts Port Authority, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is inviting expressions of interest for potential development at the Anderson Regional Transportation Center (RTC) in Woburn. The City of Woburn has been actively involved in planning and economic development efforts in the area, creating a favorable environment for potential opportunities at the RTC.
The joint venture aims to explore how to accommodate the growing transportation services at the Anderson RTC while also considering the possibility of development that can coexist with and enhance the facility’s operations. The three agencies are interested in understanding the site’s development potential, assessing market demand, and evaluating the feasibility of balancing current and future transportation needs with new development.
Interested parties are required to submit their responses to the Request for Interest by April 30.

February 28, 2025I had no idea that the Woburn Transit Center had such potential for development! It’s exciting to see how this project can attract investors and benefit the community. I wonder what types of businesses or amenities they plan to include in the center?
